First, a limiter (small screw) is different than a limit switch, right?

Dryer burner won't light, so I was thinking the ignitor is bad. I removed it and think it looks OK, although I could be wrong. Maybe flame sensor? My experience with flame sensors in furnaces is that the burner will light and then quickly go off if the flame sensor is faulty or dirty. This dryer burner doesn't light at all, so I would guess not the flame sensor.

The first thing I would do is check the thermal fuse (#7 on the diagram) for continuity. If there is no continuity, it has to be replaced together with the cycling thermostat (#9). Also, the obstructed vent can cause the dryer to overheat and blow this thermal fuse.

- The thermal fuse Part number: AP3132867
Part number: AP3132867

- The cycling thermostat Part number: AP3045874
