Recently repair the starter Relay. The repairman used a 3-1 starter. He sliced in the starter and connected a light blue and red wire to the 3-1. I am going to replace 3-1 with a original starter that plugs into the compressor but I do not know where to connect the light blue and red wire after the original starter is plugged in. Can anyone help me with the location these wires should be connected. Thanks

Don't use that repairman again. A 3n1 start device will blow out a modern compressor.
Refer to your schematic for wire replacement, it is on this site and in the service pack under the front kick panel. If it's the original factory start device you just plug it in, no problem.
If your fridg used a run capacitor, a small black plastic item near the compressor, make sure you plug it in to the start device.

Thank you I am waiting for the replacement part. In the picture of the new part there is a 2 wire harness that plugs into the starter, would this be where the light blue and red wire connect? Also how do you determine if the compressor is working? Thank you again and I will not use this repairman again.

Yes in the device there are two male terminals. If he threw away the old socket, you will need to crimp new spade terminals on the wires, available at Radio Shack.

Thanks again now I think I am a little more informed and will replace the part as soon as I get. Thank you very much for helping understand this repair better. I will post the results after the repair.

When you start the fridg. the compressor will have a distinctive rotating whine and you can feal it vibrate. For me this is music for my ears. A simple hum indicates a stalled compressor, usually gets me agitated.

Post the correct make and model #. I would not recommend a 3 n1 start device to my worst enemy!
That model # won't work. If you can correct the model #, just order the factory compressor start device and follow the directions.
