THE CONTROL LIGHTS AND 40 WATT INSIDE COMPARTMENT LIGHT WILL NOT LIGHT. THE PROBLEM STARTED SEVERAL WEEKS AGO WITH A CLICKING NOISE (POSSIBLY A RELAY) EVERY TIME THE REFRIGERATOR DOOR WAS OPEN (STOPPED WHEN CLOSED). tHE BULBS ARE FINE AND THE SWITCH CHECKS OUT FINE WITH OHM METER. WHAT CAN CAUSE THIS.

I have the exact same problem. Looking for an answer or an electrcial diagram. Seems power to the Frig electronics/door lights had failed.

If there is no 120VAC to the light switch (YL/RD wire to the ground) then according to the wiring diagram the problem is a bad main control board (#18 on the diagram). - The main control board Part number: AP4334000

Thank you, Gene. I finally got to the wiring schematic last night and pretty much concluded the same thing. The clicking noise (prior to failure) still has me baffled somewhat. I can't see what on the control board can cause that. Anyway, I'll give it a shot and keep you posted. Thanks, again.

I have the same problem but there is 120 v at the switch but not at the light socket. That's as far as I got, hopefully someone else has an idea. By the way the switch is fine, I actually went ahead and replaced it because I broke the original when I removed it to check to see if it was the problem.

Yes, the light's are now on! There were more in there than I even realized. I ordered a new control board (see above) and, indeed, that was the problem. It's an easy access (bottom left of the back side) inside a plastic housing, and an easy repair job. Good luck on yours!
