I can't lock the oven door to perform self cleaning. I there a handle to manually lock door? or is there just a problem with the door latch assembly

The model number you posted, does not come up. It could be too old, incorrect or this is not American model. Verify and repost it, please.

Does it have an electronic control or just an analog clock?

If there is an electronic control - did it show any error codes?

Gene.

Gene, I have a Roper Stove that won't "Self Clean". Error codes are (F5 & E-1). Everything else works perfectly. Model # FES330KQ1. I'm not getting power to the "self clean" timer.

tks,
Larry

Roper, Mod.# FES330KQ1. Electronic Clock (digital) and Control Panel. Getting error code F5-E1. I can manually put the unit in 'self clean' but the latch control does not get power from the control panel.

Check the switch on the door latch and the wires from the door latch to the control board. Check the door switch. The error code you posted is not listed in the tech sheets.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Roper range Model FES330KQ1

Error code 'is' listed in the "Tech sheets"! Says "door latch not operating. I have checked this latch and it functions. Wiring is ok. I get no power to the latch motor. I assume the 'control board' is faulty. Would this be a correct assumption? I removed the latch motor and applied 'external power' and it operates.
tks,
Larry

Larry,

Did you do it? If you did, what was the result?

Looks like the problem is the 'latch relay'. I'm not getting power to the latch drive. It's a small 24vdc relay that apparently can only be changed by replacing the control board. Figures......
