I have limited it down to three possible defective parts, defrost thermostat, defrost timer or defrost heater assy.I neeed to know how I can determine which is bad.The coils are frozen all the time and there is ice in the bottom of the freezer. There is no water in the evaporation pan under the fridge.I would appreciate advise on this matter.Thank You!

Is the whole evaporator frosted over or just the bottom of it?

If its all frosted then slowly turn the defrost control clockwise until it clicks
into defrost cycle. Then check to see if the defrost
heater is actually getting warm. If it does then replace
the defrost timer.
