A pillow that I was washing got caught and twisted the bellow badly. Now it just leaks out of the bottom of the washer. It looks as if the entire boot seal was connected. Can I just heat this seal and put it back into place? If not, how can I install a new one? I managed an appliance service dept. for 5 years, but I did the paperwork, I'm not a tech. I did learn some basics though, just enough to be dangerous.
Thanks a million!:D

I have the same problem with awhirlpool. How do you remove the front to replace the bellow?

The Whirlpool Duet I worked on had a wire clamp to attach the front of the boot to the frame.
Just loosen the clamp screw and put it back in place. It's not easy and requires some patience.
