Hi, just purchased a new PANEL-CNTL Part Number: AP3951285
Made by WHIRLPOOL for me: pn# 8564794 (w10077730) - old one seal broke and steam from dryer vent made buttons wet - basically ruined the pnl. New panel installed - attached the ribbon cables but nothing happend. Old panel had light on -it would blink blink blink but was unresponsive (flashing obviously means fried) . disconected and connected new one - new one has no lights - nothing going on.... the Electronic control board has power going to it and ribbon cable from there - checked continuity of each pin (I think I am doing it right) - not every one has continutity? could that be a problem? Thought this would be simple pull out old and insert new - is there some sort of reset that I am to do ??? thank you Paul

I am assuming that you have checked the bi-metal (fuse) Item 6 in Section 2 and it is OK

Does sound like a problem with the ribbon cable Item 2 in Section 2.
Pull the cable and check each track with a meter
