Our two year old Maytag washer loudly squeaks in the regular wash cycle only. I am handy but wonder is this a repairman only fix. Thank you, Auxesis

Sounds to me like the brake is slipping... probably sqeeks when it stops spinning too... Sometimes you can adjust the release cam other times need new brake
