Just purchased the motor/pump assembly w/the advice of Bambiblaster and Gene. Installed and tried to follow every step religiously. Now, the dishwasher will not fill with water. That was not a problem before I "fixed" the problem. Can anyone tell me what I probably did wrong and how to fix it. Thanks for any help. Thanks Bill

hi, couple of possibilitys on your problem, water level switch(float) or water inlet. check to see if the float moves freely and you should be able to feel or hear the switch operate. often when you change out the sump you can bump into the float. also check the wires going to the switch and going to the water inlet to make sure you didn't pull a wire off. hope this helps

Fixit,

Worse than having pulled it off. While screwing in the access panel to power-in wires, I caught the wire part of No. 8545880 and cut it. Thanks for the leads. Able to find the problem
