My 3 yr old fridge is not blowing cold. suspect evap is frozen or fan is bad.
I checked defrost timer ohms out fine. I want to get to evap fan but not sure how to access. This is a bottom freezer top fridge model. Till I get some info I have removed food and turned off power going to let it melt down overnight and see if evap fan runs tomorrow. I will still want to check out evap heater and defrost t-stat. thx

Empty freezer. remove icemaker if present. should have 4 screws holding the back freezer panel in. Sometimes the blade is pushed too far on the motor shaft so check that first. check voltage at fan. replace if needed. easy stuff you'll have no problems.
