My refrigerator is running warmer than usual. the freezer is fine. I have cleaned the back covered section and it ran fine for a while. Now it seems to be running warm again. I have set the temp at the highest setting.

Only way to tell if freezer is OK is with a thermometer. It should be around 0 degrees F. Also ice cream is a good indicator if the freezer temperature is high as it will be soft.

First check that the compressor and condenser fan are running.
If yes
Check that the evaporator fan in the freezer is also running. It is required to push cold air into the fresh food side
If yes
Check that the damper (Item 8 in Section 2) between the freezer and fridge is open allowing the cold air in.
If yes
Remove the evaporator coil cover in the freezer so you can inspect them.
If they are heavily frosted/iced over you have a defrost problem.
If there is just frost in one area or it is very blotchy you may have a low freon problem.

Here are a couple good sits with basic fridge repair info.
