Dryer won't heat during cycle. It tumbles, blows air however, not heated. Is this a heater element issue or a high heat thermostat issue? Or could it be both? MMM??

I had same problem. It was the Hi-Limit switch. It needed resetting by pushing the red button. You need to take off the big oval cover on the back of the dryer to see it. It is on the side of the heater coil unit. It will click if it was popped when you try to reset it. If it pops again it could be to too much lint build-up in the system. If you try to clean heat coils be careful; they can break with just a touch.
