My bosses icemaker started making ice similar to Sonic ice makers, irregular and rough textured. It makes plenty of ice and does not get used much. I placed PC jumper to thick ice and for a day it produced thick clear ice, now its making thin airiated looking ice again. Water tray is full when I check it. I like it, he does'nt. Any ideas?

What is the exact temperature in the freezer?

OK. The interior temp is 41 deg, and the cold plate with a slab of ice is 32 deg. Bin is full of ice, but not correct thickness or shape.

Sorry for the delay.
If I got it clear, there is only 32°F in the freezer? If this is correct, then there is a serious problem with the cooling system.
