It started abour a year ago when we noticed that dishes were coming out with a film. We couldn't find a person to correct the problem. Now the washing cycle that used to take about 90 minutes now takes about 30 minutes. Sears is the only place that will look at it and estimates are around $70 plus $340 for possible parts replacement. What to do?

The model number you posted is incorrect. Verify and repost it, please.

Also I would like to know if you are going to fix it yourself. If you are, then I need more specific description of the problem.
