The model number you posted is incomplete. Verify and repost it.

modle 363.58062894 is the number on the front of the parts list, another question? the thermostat inside of freezer section has wr50x55 etched on it but sears parts direct says it can't find that number. they do have wr50x122 which comes up as the part for the model number I gave them. 5-6 months ago a sears appliance person changed the heater harness but I don't know if he changed the thermostat for some other brand. any ide:confused: as

Sorry for the delay.

Remove the rear panel in the freezer and check the defrost heater and the defrost thermostat for continuity. The thermostat has to be cold at the test time.

If the defrost heater is bad, then the new one comes together with the thermostat, so you do not have to order it.

If both, the heater and the thermostat checked OK, then the problem is a bad defrost timer (#257 on the diagram).

- The defrost thermostat Part number: AP2071262
Part number: AP2071262

- The defrost heater assembly Part number: AP2071523
Part number: AP2071523

- The defrost timer Part number: AP2061695
Part number: AP2061695
