I have a kenmore coldspot refrigerator. I get water to the door dispenser but no water to the ice maker someone told me it could be the solinoid valve in back any ideas:confused:

Locate the water inlet valve (#10 on the diagram) on the back of the refrigerator. Swap the wires between the solenoids, press water release for the water dispenser and check if there is water in the ice maker.

If there is water, replace the ice maker.

If there is no water, replace the water inlet valve and make sure the water feeding tube into the ice maker ic clean.
