Hi!

Any help on this is greatly appreciated!

Bought installed in 1996 by previous home owner. it's a kitchenaid range/oven kgst300bwh1, issue is it shows 'Err' fault code when attempting to enter any temperature over 260 deg in both bake and broil mode.
Any temperature is accepted under 260 degrees.

I referenced some other forum from "Jake", which stated replacing both the control board and microcomputer board, did not resolve the issue. (posted today, 3/21/08).

I also turned off the breaker for a few moments, with no change in symptoms.

Any advice, greatly appreciated.

My girlfriend is hungry, so we're off for pizza tonight instead.
Thanks.

See this link. It’s probably a simple fix.
