I have a Kenmore 90 Series washer that sometimes won't spin int the spin cycle. It does not happen all the time. Sometimes it works perfectly, like tonight, sometimes it spins slowly, and sometime not at all. When it won't spin at all, I have a strong burnt rubber smell. Please help.

Your motor is drawing excessive current and could burn up. I would shine a light in the tub and look for something stuck. If ok, I would pull outer cover, remove pump and motor and do the tranny coupler test in my "sticky" above, replacing direct drive brake shoes.

You said see "sticky" above. I do not know what that means. Where would I find the "sticky"? I am still having the same problems. I am sure I have the mechanical skills to repair the washer, if I know how to diagnose the problem. I tahnk you in advance for your support.

The second article in the washer repair section is a "sticky", allways there for data and analysis info.
