I have a Dacor ERD30 (dual fuel). The ERC went out Sept 2006 and was replaced. It went out again in Sept 2007, and just went out again in March 2008. Symptoms are the control panel LED is completely blank. The control pad (at least the oven light) still work.

That seems like a very high failure rate for such an expensive part. I'm wondering if there is an issue with this type of failure/part or if I just have a lemon and something is causing repeated problems. Or is there a way to reset the control panel when this happens without a replacement?

Thanks,

Greg.

I have exactly the same problem Greg. I'm surprise nobody has offered a solution here yet. I don't know what an ERC is, but my symptoms are the same, so I reckon I gotta replace the ERC as you did. If I get it out I will open it, test it as best I can, and will let you know if there is anything fixable about it....Jwhite
