Kitchen Aid
KUDM24SEWH2

My dishwasher would completely flood my kitchen. I replaced..
1.)The float assembly switch because I figured it was overfilling.
2.)The plastic seal and the tub spacers at the bottom of the door. (Old seal fits tightly but was cracked. New plastic seal is loose and sometimes falls off... should i use adhesive to hold it in place?

Doesnt flood anymore, but sill seriously leaks from the botom of the door. only at the RIGHT hinge side. I noticed that the main door gasket was seriously cracked.. on the LEFT corner though. My new gasket should be in tomorrow and Ill post the results after that's replaced.

Also, the little compartment that you put the soap in ("main wash") and then latch the little door shut... the latch is broke so the little door cant close... will that effect how clean my dishes are?

if you look at the parts breakdown on this site page 9 and look at item 3 gasket on pump/// these gaskets usual wear and it will shoot water right at the door crack... as for the lower door gasket shoul snap in place... he latch on the dispenser needs fixed,, the detergent is use on the 1st fill and drained away too early... the washer fills for prewash a couple of times before it uses the detergent

Thanks man. Ill post back shortly with results in regaurds to the pump gasket.

To fix that latch for the soap, it looks like I have to buy a whole new dispenser assembly for $130.00...YIKES! Maybe ill wait on it and see if i can figure something else out... like look for a piece at an appliance store...

No number 13 sits in groove of number 9 in the pic...All those screws around the top you remove and the gasket sits in the middle in the groove

Replaced the pump gasket and the door gasket. 2 water drops hit the floor the first test run! Lol, and its been fine since that. Well done. Thanks guys!

Now all I have to do is figure out a way to repair the soap door latch, without buying a whole new unit for $130!!
