the washer stoped working when i pulled it out the cord was hard and cracked i put on a new cord and pluged it in and still nothing no sound or anything is there a reset botton or some thing on it that if the cord shorted out i need to reset

hay i took the door switch wires out and wired them direct and now its working fine i just dont want to open it while its running lol im a cheapskate

The door switch comes as a part of the door latch assembly. It is very expensive. Maybe you can find just a switches in any local electronic parts store. Remove the old switches and take it there. - The door latch assembly Part number: AP4357962
