The Clean Light blinks 7 times - then hesitates and blinks another cycle of 7 times. We cannot get the light to clear. Usually shuting the door after the dishes are clean resets and stops the light. The door does shut all the way. We cannot get it to run with the light blinking. What does this code mean? How do we repair it? Please help us!

Thank you in advance!

The 7 light symptom is low temp error.

Pull the tech sheet from under the dishwasher and follow the instructions to reset the control. If that does not fix the problem, you probably need a heating element.

Sometimes they stick it on the side of the dishwasher, just look.
Your dishwasher sensed a low water temperature, just raise your water temperature, it should be at least 120 degrees.
Open the dishwasher door and within 3 seconds, hit High temp scrub, then energy saver, then repeat, or do this to similar buttons. Close and latch door and press cancel, this should re-set computer.
Lots of times there is really nothing wrong with the dishwasher and I never found a bad heating element/thermostat on all the ones I looked at.
Post results.

Richappy saved me about about 4 hours of my life with his instructions. 39 out of 40 times these forums don't work but this time it did. Followed instructions as written and dishwasher is working.........I didn't even have to dig out the tech sheet from the side or bottom of the dishwasher, just followed what was written in the thread........thanks
