This is an in-wall gas oven. The ignitor wil not glow for the oven part but the broiler ignitor works fine. Replaced the ignitor but it still does not work. I only seem to be getting 24 VAC going to the ignitor and if I am correct it should be 120VAC. Any ideas what to look for would be appreciated.

Check the Bake side of the gas safety valve (#315 on the diagram) for continuity between the terminals.

If there is continuity, replace the control board.

If there is no continuity, replace the gas safety valve.

- The control board Part number: AP3188925

Just tested the continuity on the gas valve (bake side) and there is none. I also tested the voltage going to it and there is no voltage when the bake side is started; is this normal as the broil side has 120VAC when the broil part is started.
Thanks again for all your help

The dual gas valve in your oven is actually two gas valves in one body. If there is no continuity on the Bake side of the gas valve, the gas valve has to be replaced.

I know that i have to replace the valve but I am worried that I might have to replace other components since there is not 120VAC present.
Thanks again for all your help

You can check for 120 VAC by measuring the voltage between the incoming wire to the gas valve and the other wire to the igniter.
