I have a GE over counter microwave oven. The day after listing my house for sale, I got my bracelet caught on the bottom plastic door latch and broke if off. If I order that part, can it be replaced by the comsumer? And how easy is it to do?

If you know how to handle a simple tools, this part is not too difficult to replace yourself.

You have to remove the choke cover (aka an inner door frame). You can use the instructions and video from one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...-microwave-handle-2.html
