My dishwasher quit in the middle of a cycle with two inches of water in the bottom of it. It won't restart or drain the water out of the bottom. I checked the circuit braker and turned such off and back on to no avail. Any ideas? Timer switch?

Here is the parts breakdown
Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL DU8000XX6 | AppliancePartsPros.com

Here is the wiring diagram
http://www.servicematters.com/docs/wiring/Wiring%20Sheet%20-%203369311.pdf

First check that power is getting to the unit.
Check the wire nut connections which connect the house wiring to the machine.
Next would be a door switch
Then perhaps the motor or the timer.

A multi-meter will make trouble shooting this much easier.
