The washer stops and we have to hit the stop button and restart it numerous times to get the clothes clean.
I have part #W10121508 C and wondered if this is the correct part to fix the problem.
Also, if it is the correct part how do I fix it myself?
Thanks,
Dale

The control sounds like the problem, and the part number you cited does come up as the controller, but first try to do some trouble shooting and diagnosis on this machine.

This is a Whirlpool built washer, and this service manual should help you use the built in diagnosis procedures.
