My clothes dryer Kenmore Elite model #110.63932102 stopped heating last night. We ran a load through fine and the next load would not heat. Tumbles and runs, good voltage, continuity on heating element and thermal fuse, thermal cutoff and thermostat. no continuity on Thermistor next to thermal fuse. Not sure if continuity is how to test thermistor for good/bad? Ouside of that need advice on how to proceed troubleshooting.
Thanks Joe

Before replacing I would open SublimeMasterJW's first link.
Take a look at Page 5, it gives thermister resistances, I would re-check it using the correct meter scale (25 Kohms or next higher).
Could be it read "no continuity" because you were on too low of a meter scale. |
