Help, After a cleaning of the dryer vent. We forgot to put the lint filter back inside and ran a load of clothes. It appears at least one knee high nylon entered the slot. How can we open the dryer to see if that's what's wrong and remove any blockage? The dryer vent doesn't appear to have anything in it. but there is obviously something wrong.....

Typically with these models you can open them up by inserting a putty knife or screw driver in the gap between the top and the front near the edges. This will release clips that hold the top to the cabinet, and it will swing up. You can now take out the screws that hold the front on, and from the back, take off the service panel and release the belt.

The drum should now lift up and out and you can see what is jamming your machine.
