I have two questions...
My first one is that I know that the agitator needs to be replaced but would it be easy for me to buy the complete agitator kit? I would probably be replacing this myself and I'm not too smart when it comes appliances. My husband works two jobs and it would just be easier for me to do it.
My other question is that sometimes the washer will spin after rinse cycle and sometimes it won't. When it doesn't, all I have to do is open the lid and restart the spin cycle. When I close the lid, it spins. What causes it to do that?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

1. What exactly is wrong with the agitator?
2. If the washer did drain but did not spin and you had to open and close the lid to start the spin then, most likely the problem is a bad timer. I need more specific description.
Gene.
