Bosch washer doesn't spin to the full speed sometimes, sometimes it won't spin at all. It will skip cycles completely. Sometimes it works fine. I am a HVAC/R technician I just need the service proceedure. The motor ohms out OK.

It will spin to full speed if I do P:04 and run a spin. It only spins very slowly during a regular spin cycle. Between a wash and rinse cycle it spins pretty fast though.

I have the same problem. Have you determined the problem yet? Do you have a list of what the codes mean? I have not tried to check my codes yet just starting to diagnose.

Our 5 year old Bosch Washer Nexxt 500 would latch the door and pump water but not spin. Motor, belt, and drum spun free. Found the cause to be a solder joint on the lower rear power board with a large metal heat sink. One of the 2 middle junctions on the what I believe is a dual gate mosfet had failed/melted over time. Quick solder to the trace and now it spins.

Reviving an old thread here, but the board in my 5 yr old 500 plus looks like it went bad in the same exact spot. I'm getting a D:06 error and my tub is not spinning. How did your fix hold up?

The solder fix worked. We'll see how it holds up. Makes me wonder how common this issue is.

Was the failure to spin accompanied by a grinding plastic sound? Our washer has the same symptoms, but also made an awful grinding/twisting plastic sound before failing to operate the drum motor. Drum, motor and belt rotate freely when spun by hand. Washer will fill and drain per program, but will not operate drum

Mine did not making any noise. It would fill and drain, go through a complete cycle but would not even try to spin. It turns out the part on the board that fails is what sends power to the motor.

Have you gone into the diagnostic modes and got any error codes?
