I was reading on here about gas dryers not heating. Most of the consensus was that the coils on the gas valve go bad on this model.
The lighting element turns on, glows red hot, and then the flame starts up. It runs for 6-7 seconds, then shuts off. Dryer runs with no heat for about a minute or so then the process starts all over again.
I replaced the gas valve with integrated coils and nothing changed.
I see two sensors on the combustion tube just after the lighting element. One is on the side and one is on the top. My guess is one of these sensors is bad? Or could it be something else?
I also have been reading on testing the sensors and I have a multimeter, but can barely use it.
Can someone suggest the steps that I need to take in order to further troubleshoot this problem? Detailed steps with the multimeter would be appreciated (If this is one of the steps in the process).
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Ok, I have some more information.
Like a dope, I did not first read how to check for continuity.
I read the article and tested the flame sensor and the thermostat on the flame tube, and the thermostat next to the Thermistor. All tested out at 0 Ohms, so they are good.......right?
The thermistor tested at 14 Ohms or 1.4 ohms depending on which scale I used. This should be at zero to right?
Did I stumble on the answer? Thermistor?
