Replaced transmission, clutch, timer, coupler, it doesnt shift into spin first time, when it does it goes slow. wont agitate in gentile. Regular agitate and pump works ok. I suspect the motor is not working properly, or the starter?

some of those transmissions don't go into spin at first, they pump out first, then the timer stops the machine for a couple seconds, then when it starts again, it will spin. you can test this by lifting your lid and shutting again. it should spin when you close the lid.

does the motor run when it's supposed to be agitating in gentle, some new whirlpool's (estate's) now do gentle by agitating fast, then stopping, then agitating fast again... over and over. guess they saved some money not using a 2 speed motor.
