I replaced circuit board. I have pushed the sequence normal wash...heated dry...normal wash...heated dry...normal wash...heated dry...normal wash...headed dry. All the lights lit up, after a few seconds the lights went off and the machine started. i believe it was in a quick rinse cycle although no positive as the normal wash light also came on. The machine ran for 15 minutes or so and then shut off. I tried to start machine again and it will not start. the only thing that seems to make it do anything is the same key sequence again. Before replacing the circuit board, the normal light was on and the start light was flashing. After replacement normal wash light would come on when pushed, start button did nothing and after 30 seconds all lights went off. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. The machine model number is 665.16019402, stock number 16019, stock number 575-0, serial number FS4404596. My original control panel board number was 8564544 made by whirlpool. Sears lists this model on their site but I was unable to find it on APP. Now that I have found the paper that came with my machine, I believe you are correct that the code which I entered listed in my documentation is actually heated dry-normal-heated dry-normal and runs a service diagnostics cycle. The code I had been entering contained this sequence. I found that during cycles 7-3, the wash cycle light stays on shouldn't. What does it mean when the wash light stays on when it shouldn't? I hope that I don't need another control panel. When I test the switches on the front, I find that all the switches that contain the p12 pin do not show any continuity. I don't know if I can get around these switches. Does this mean that my front panel will need replacing?

Your tech sheet appears to have the same keyswitch check table that mine has. The p1-12 lead is the same on both sheets. it controls the pots/ pans, start, delay hours, and quick rinse switchs, which are the same switch that appear not to work on my dishwasher. I have decided to order the control panel and replace these switches. I hope this is not a bad idea. It is on back order so it may be awhile before I know. If this is bad idea please let me know.
