Gene, thanks again, here's some info. Roper Dryer, Model# rex4625ew2 type: 122-00 I was drying some clothes, walked out to the shop to se if they were done and noticed that the clothes were still a little damp and the timer still show about mid cycle. I tried to re start and nothing, i tried the other two cycles and nothing. I tested outlet and I have power. Do you need any other info? I can fax you the wire diagram, I found it in side the top cover. Let me know what you think. Thank you so much!!!!!!:o

Hi Dustin,

The first thing I would do is check the following parts for continuity:

1. The heating element (#17 on the bulkhead parts break down diagram).

2. The thermal cut-off (#6 on the bulkhead parts break down diagram).

3. The hi limit thermostat (#15 on the bulkhead parts break down diagram).

4. The cycling thermostat (#24 on the bulkhead parts break down diagram).

The following article on our forum will explain in detail how to run a continuity test using either an analog meter or a digital meter – How to check continuity with Ohmmeter.

Any of these parts with an open circuit has to be replaced.

- The part number for the heating element is AP3094254

- The part number for the thermal cut-off (including the hi limit thermostat) is AP3094244

- The part number for the hi limit thermostat is AP3131941

- The part number for the cycling thermostat is AP3115922

Here are the break down diagrams for the Roper dryer Model REX4625EW2

Good luck.
Gene.
