Dishwasher runs full cycle but water is not being dispersed:(

OK, then it is probably a problem with the water inlet valve.
First you have to check that the valve is getting power when it should, it should be 115 volts. Note the control board or the overflow switch can stop it from getting power.
If you do not have a meter at least check that the overflow switch under the float assembly is actuated.
If it is getting power remove the water valve and clean/check the filter screen on the input side of the valve. This is a common cause of no water. Do not remove/discard it as it is there to keep crud out of the valve which could hold it open and cause a flood.
If the screen is clean the valve needs replacing. |

I do not have a wiring diagram for this unit so cannot comment on no voltage at PS4-8. I am assuming that this is the wire from the control that runs down to the float switch or the valve which are wired in series. You may want to check it for continuity, sometimes they can break internally where they go under the unit.
Looks like a fairly old unit so if you can determine that it is either the control board or the timer that is causing the problem it probably makes more sense to replace the machine. |
