The condenser motor doesn't turn even after installed a new one! How can we checK this? If this is the main board, do we have to program it after installing a new one or is it factory programmed?

The condenser fan motor operates by the main control board.

Most likely the problem is a bad main control board. It comes factory programmed and should work normally after installation.

- The part number for the main control board is AP3950129

The problem to the condensor motor was indeed due to a faulty main board... Thank You Gene (you're genious!)
It seems to have a problem with these electronic boards, they don't seem to be well protected ...
Personnally I will install a surge protection (same as computers) to protect it .
Thank You roch10 from Canada

Leave your new condenser motor in place, the old one probably blew out the motherboard, Ge design has made sure of this!

Thank you for the advice! i've checked the continuity of the old motor and you were right it was faulty!! I think GE made changes to motors they sell for replacement they are now very expensive...
Thanks again.
