When the oven was new.........it heated evenly. Now when you bake........the top of the oven seems hotter and foods tend to burn, unless you keep them on the bottom rack. Its almost like you are using the broil setting. This is not extreme but it is not as it was when new.
The top element comes on during baking, but i guess this is normal. Checked the bottom and the element seems to be working.
