Hi there!
My name is ram, and I have a Lennox AC/Heater on my attic. Now my problem the fan motor is broke. I bought the same motor specification but the problem is the wiring (it confuses me a lot, since im not expert on this).Emerson is the original motor brand and AOSmith is the replacement that I bought.
The original wiring connections goes like this; yellow and brown goes to park, red goes to heat and black goes to cool, white goes to neutral, 2 violet goes to capacitor and green to ground, all are 8 colored wires.
On my replacement, it says brown & brown white goes to capacitor, black-high, red-low, blue-medium, yellow-line, green-ground and (on rotation purple-white,brown-orange), all are 11 colored wires. On ground, rotation and capacitor wires is clear for me, but on the 4 colored wires, I dont know which color wires goes on the circuit board which is park, heat, cool and neutral?
I hope you could guide me on this issues/connections. Thank you very much and more power to you.
HAPPY HOLIDAY TO YOU AND TO YOUR FAMILY, GOD BLESS!

HAPPY HOLIDAY TO YOU AND TO YOUR FAMILY, GOD BLESS! ok first you have a universal replacement motor not to worry just make sure the voltage is correct 115 volts if this is correct the yellow wire is nothing more than your neutal black to the cool terminal blue to heat terminal brown with white stripe an one side of capicator other brown to the other side of capicator ( please save yourself some trouble and replace the capictor) now for the direction should be cw for clockwise and ccw for counter cockwise determine direction with shaft pointing away from you and wire accordingly (worst thing that will happen it will run backwards) install blower check rotation turn on for a second and check the direction if correct your done hope this helps hvac_hillbilly:)
