Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/24/2009(UTC) Posts: 2		I have a mecanical defrost timer. I opened it up and it has what looks like a fuseable link sending power to the timer part. The part reads open with a ohm meter. A new timer is $70. Is it common pratice to just replace a componet inside the timer or all defrost timers considered disposable?
