Ok this is what the machine is doing as i had the machine gave to me was going to fix for back up.

It does fill up with water but does not do nothing else at all as the timer seems to be working.I took the cabinet off and it looks like someone has straight wire the lid switch. The lid switch & wires are not in the cabinet with no lid switch and screws and when the wires come out of the control panel they are three a tan, green, grey they have got the grey and brown tied together with a wire nut?Which means that have got it straight wired and could it be the motor also as it seems they are no power at all making it to the motor?Any advise will be helpful to me?

Thanks,
Rob

A Model Number may help others help you.

Can you get it to empty/spin by manually turning the timer.

One thing to check would be the water level switch. Just because the fill stops does not mean the agitate/run contacts close. Normally though you can get it to empty manually.
