I have a Kennmore side by side refrigerator / freezer that's not coolong. The fan behind the kick plate in the back is working, the compressor (black ball in the rear) is very warm almost hot and there is a periodic clicking noise comming from the unit. When I opened it this moring I also noticed a slight clicking noise (only lasted a 15 - 20 seconds)coming from the panel where the freezer / refrigerator tempriture swiths are located on the frige side. I've cleaned the coils underneath. Any ideas?

Yes, replace the conponents on the compressor. It is the overload and relay kit. It is a common problem, with your product. Tom ApplianceEducator.com - Parts
