How hot is the water inside the dishwasher?
What kind of detergent did you use?
Can you see a white stuff inside the dishwasher when it's dry?

The temperature of our hot water is extremely hot - 142 degrees (does it need to be this hot? We set it this high for the dishwasher). We use Members Mark (Sam's Club brand) automatic dishwasher gel, which they say to compare to Cascade Pure Rinse Formula, and yes there is white stuff left after the wash is over, but the dishwasher has an automatic dispenser, so I have no idea how much is actually going in per wash. Thanks in advance.

If the water temperature is 142°F inside the dishwasher at the first fill, it's too hot. 120°F is what recommended by all manufacturers. Looks like there is a calcium build up in the dishwasher. You can find some useful information in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...g-element.html#post37989Gene.

Sometimes food particles can slip underneath the coarse filter. That food then gets lodged inside the spray jets. I have had to fish things like pumpkin seeds out of the jets with tweezers. Then everything worked fine.
