If you will take off the bottom lower panel you can reach up under the front panel on the right side until you find a "tab" hanging down. Pull gently on this and the door lock mechanism will release.
This may not solve your problem, in which case a new door lock mechanism may be needed.

I have done this repair a few times, but this time nothing seems to work. You can hear the solenoid clicking, but not locking the door. Is there any way to test the door lock to determine if it is actually the source of the problem?
