My washer started to hesitate at the rinse cycle and we would have to manually advance the knob notch by notch until it would start the rinse and finish. Now it starts to fill for the initial rinse cycle and pumps a bit of water and then the stream cut's in half and takes about 15min to fill until it gets to the next cycle. Is this a problem with the Timer or should I check something else before I order a new timer.

Thanks.

could be the timer but im suspicious of the water valve so i would try to rule out the water valve before replacing the timer. your new problem with the water pressure cutting in half and taking a while to fill makes me suspicious of the water valve. i'm just not sure if a timer problem could cause the water pressure to cut in half but the first part of your post makes me very suspicious of the timer. i would wait to see if others have an opinion
