I checked through all the old posts relating to the Neptune but didn't see this question. We have a Matag Neptune Front Loading Washer (MAH3000AWW). About 3 months ago I replaced the pump motor and all appeared to be well with it again. However recently the machine seems to be louder at the end of the drain cycle. To me it sounds like the pump motor is continuing to run after the water has been drained. The replacement pump was of a slightly different and supposedly better design than the original. Is it that this pump is just louder or might ther be another issue going on. Any help / advise is very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Geoff

You may have some debris or something in the pump, maybe something left over from its manufacture, so I would take it off, clean it out good and put it back on.

You need to determine if the pump is not shutting off.

Here is the service manual.
