over the last month i noticed the fridge wasn't quite cold enough...

with the freezer and fridge temp control at "coldest" the freezer was at ~13F degrees and the fridge was at ~45F or so.

I consulted the forums here and diagnosed that the coils were a little frozen but the defrost heater does kick on.

i thought it was a defrost timer issue and replaced it today.

the refrigerator still hasn't reached a temp lower than 42 on coldest. (maybe i just have to wait like 24 hours)

i do notice that the fridge seems to go on/off about every 5 minutes.

1215 off
12:20 slight noise
12:22 click and on
12:26 off
12:32 back on
~12:37 off again
12:39 on
12:45 off
12:51 on

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is there any why to check if any of these parts are really faulty? Could it be anything else?

update: i've set the freezer temp control to "Cold" (left most setting / warmest) and I've turned the fridge temp control to normal (middle setting) and temps in both fridge and freezer are the still the SAME. (before they were both set at the Colder"/coldest setting)

Would this guarantee that the temp control is broken? or just the relay?

I will order the parts today!
