About three weeks ago, I was doing a load and I heard my Kenmore washer go off balance but I couldn’t get to it in time to "pause" the load. I heard a loud noise and when I got to laundry room I noticed the door had been "blown open". My husband noticed a small plastic part had broken on the door latch; we ordered the part and he fixed it. Then we did a load and we noticed water leaking from the bottom. He opened the bottom panel and he noticed two shock absorbers on the right side (when facing machine) were either broken or out of place. As it happened, one was just out of placement and the other was broken. We ordered the part and my husband fixed it. We put in a load and all was good. Then we put in a second load and water leaked out again! Any ideas on where to look, what to do next? Thanks.

Remove the panel and put the machine in a short cycle. You may also want to throw in a few towels to make for a realistic load. Watch to see if you can spot the leak.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try it this weekend.
