In July, we had a service company out to repair our 8 year old side by side GE refridgerator. The back panel of the freezer was frozen, water was coming out the bottom of the door and the refridgerator was warm. They replaced the defrost heater (WR51X10055) and the computer (WR55X10656). After they left, there was a loud pop. The ice dispenser in the door also no longer worked. I had them come back out and they told me it was fine, that it didn't seem cold because there was no food in the freezer or refridgerator, and to fill it up. It has never been right since. Today the temp of refridgerator is 55. Freezer is cold, but is filled with frozen food, and has frost on back panel again. If you could please help by letting me know what parts could possibly fix it. My husband is out of work and we can't afford to lose all the food again.

The defrost thermostat in the freezer probably blew out. Just remove the freezer panel and check, a bad one will show evidence of a burnout and poped off epoxy cover.
