Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/25/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		We are having troubles with our Kenmore built-in oven/microwave unit. The last two times we have tried to clean our oven about 45 minutes into the cleaning cycle the unit beeps and displays a F9 code. The oven door is locked and will not unlock until oven cools. All other functions work fine with the unit just can't use self clean. If it is a problem I can fix myself I would like to but if getting a tech out is needed I will do that. Any advise would be greatly appreciated and would like to know if this is a common problem.

Check the switches and the wire harness from the door lock to the EOC. If there is nothing wrong - replace the EOC. - The part number for the door latch assembly is AP3184578 - The part number for the door latch harness is AP3792531 - The part number for the EOC is AP3792535 Gene.
