Dryer stopped in early stage of cycle. Odor like burned rubber. Dryer overload Breaker was off. After about an hour tried again. Motor hummed, but no tub movement. Shut off. Trying to disassemble to get to motor/blower/ belt etc. Used drawings/instructions from ****************.com. Have taken off back, top, and still can't get to motor et al. Can see belt, does not appear burned and is in place around tub. Suggestions on how to access/repair please.

If you can manually move the drum the problem is likely with the motor.

To access it you need to go through the front. Insert a screw driver or putty knife in the gap between the lower panel and door support panel in front to release clips that will allow you to take off the lower panel. You can now take off the upper panel, release the belt and remove the drum. This will give you access to the motor.
